Mobinex and Turkcell Teknoloji combined forces to provide an innovative mobile application storefront technology; SmartStore, which will help operators to increase their revenues from application downloads. The integrated offering will benefit Mobinex’s user experience technology and Turkcell Teknoloji’s expertise on carrier grade platform delivery and integration services.
Mobile software market, which was $17.9 billion in 2007, is estimated to reach $67.3 billion revenues in 2013. Apple’s huge success on iPhone App Store and Google’s Android Market strategy tease operators to take a bigger stake on mobile applications market. While leading operators are preparing to launch their application storefronts, SmartStore solution enables operators to monetize mobile applications ecosystem by increasing mobile download revenues.
Mobile operator branded SmartStore mobile client simplifies the discovery of mobile applications dramatically. One-click purchase and installation, community interaction features such as commenting, voting, and customized user interface make SmartStore a compelling super store for mobile applications.
