Daily RFID Unveils New Low-cost RFID Disc Tag for Harsh Environments

November 27, 2008 (FPRC) -- DAILY RFID ( www.rfid-in-china.com ),a leading provider of RFID tags and RFID readers, has recently announced new RFID Disc Tag operating in 125KHz(LF) or 13.56MHz, with price at lower than 0.6USD.It is specially designed for industrial applications especially in harsh environments.

This new RFID Disc Tag is engineered to provide a read range from 3cm to 10m basing on a normal LF or HF RFID Reader,specifically developed by DAILY RFID to be integrated to RFID antomatic Jewelry Automatic Management project. The RFID Disc Tag is ideal for the identification of goods and objects in industrial, logistics and production applications.

It has a protective overlay layer made from ABS named engineering plastic, which allows the tag to support the physical conditions in harsh environments, and to resist against abrasion, impact and corrosion.

The ABS RFID Disc tags are available in different sizes: diameters 13/20 and 30 mm with a thickness of 0.6 mm. These small footprints allow the RFID Disc Tag to perform well in any industrial environments.

The tags are available with the most common low frequency (125 kHz) ICs such as the EM 4100 and NXP Hitag 1/2. They are also available with HF (13.56MHz)ICs, such as the Mifare Family, I-Code and TI 256.
