New Version of Intellexer SDK 4.0 Released
Software developers released a new version of semantic platform Intellexer SDK 4.0

November 26, 2008 (FPRC) -- EffectiveSoft presented a new version of Intellexer SDK (Software Development Kit). It is a flexible linguistic platform for application development. Intellexer SDK has been greatly enhanced. Every module of this solution has been improved:
* Linguistic Processor Plus (the core of Intellexer SDK. It is the module that performs syntactical analysis of a text)
* Document Comparator (a module that compares documents and determines the degree of proximity between them)
* Question-answering System (a module built around Linguistic Processor. It is used to provide a user with the ability to ask questions using natural language; the system then locates the answers to the question from a database of documents)
* Spellchecker (a module which is used for automatic spelling checking and correction. Now with Russian Language Support)
* Document Categorizer (a module that distributes documents into categories and subcategories)
* Document Summarizer (a module that makes a summary of a larger document or a web page. Now with an improved summarization algorithm and new summary types)
But the main thing is that the developers have added some new modules for better solution functioning:
* Question comparison tool is a module that compares two questions on the syntactic-semantic level and gives their proximity.
* Named Entity Recognizer is a module that identifies and recognizes named entities in text (e.g. personal names, organization names, etc.).
* Named Entity Relation Extractor is a module that works on the top of Named Entity Recognizer, and allows determining the relations between named entities.
Now, due to the enriched and new modules the Intellexer SDK 4.0 provides more effective capabilities for the development of different semantics-based solutions. The solutions can vary in the number and algorithmic complexity of the linguistic instruments used, depending on the customer's needs.
We sell both versions. There is also an opportunity to update the Intellexer SDK 3.0 version to Intellexer SDK 4.0. But this service is for the additional price. The Intellexer SDK 4.0 support is free of charge in the case if you have the paid support of the previous version.
